In the wake of the devastating destruction left by Cyclone Maila, our families across the rural islands of Samarai-Murua are facing an uphill battle to rebuild their lives.
The Louisiade Peoples Foundation Inc. (LPF) has launched an urgent fundraising appeal to provide essential relief—including clean water, food supplies, and emergency shelter—to the hardest-hit coastal communities.
Kapole Jam Session Donation Drive
To jump-start our relief efforts, LPF is hosting a 'Donation Drive-Kapole Jam Session' in collaboration with wONEm Direction and the Milne Bay Community Association Inc. on Saturday, April 18th 2026. We are calling on all Port Moresby residents to join us for a day of music and spirit, where you can contribute both cash and essential goods.
We are gratefully accepting everything from sanitation supplies and sleeping gear to clothes and kitchen utensils—every item helps a family in need.
Your donation, regardless of size, provides a vital lifeline to isolated Milne Bay communities. By standing in solidarity with us, you offer the hope and essential supplies needed to help those who have lost everything rebuild their lives.
